Failaka Island - Kuwait

Ok! This time I didn't start the post with a picture of me, because I'm simply not in this album ;p but I think this picture of 'Eva' will do :)

Went on a short tour around the island last month with the Desert Biking Club of Kuwait.. most of the cyclist spent the night there and got a better tour, me and 3 others came back on the same day.. kinda missed out I guess, but it's ok because we went to Johnny Rockets when we got back :D

Anyhow, it was fun ^_^ and here are the pictures;

The sand that covers the ruins is full of shells (more clear if you view original size). So the island was covered with water and then cleared again?
